The S05 is Deepal's compact SUV, and the model most export buyers start with. It packs a 2,880 mm wheelbase into a 4,620 mm body, so rear passengers get mid-size legroom in a car that still parks easily.
Two drivetrains
- S05 BEV 510Max — 56.12 kWh CATL LFP battery, 510 km CLTC, 238 Ps, 0–100 km/h in 7.3 s, 30–80% charge in about 15 minutes.
- S05 EREV 200Max — 155–200 km pure electric, 1,234 km combined CLTC range, 218 Ps.
Features buyers notice
Huawei DLP projection headlights can project guidance onto the road — and a film onto a wall when parked. Inside, a 15.4-inch 2.5K screen runs Deepal OS on a Snapdragon 8155 chip, and the BEV adds a 4K gimbal camera. V2L discharge lets the car power tools or camping gear.
Who should buy it
Dealers looking for a first Deepal model, ride-hailing fleets and young urban families. It is the easiest Deepal to sell on price, and the EREV version removes range worries in markets still building charging networks.
